If you want to customize your vehicles and unlock new wind in them, get the battlefield app...

I just unlocked lots of goodies like rockets on my plane.

Ive got the trial version (free 10 hours of play) - no idea if its multi

What is the sniper game-play like compared to bf3 (didnt like bf3 at all, too slow and boring as a sniper)

Sniping is an integral part of BF1 Tro. All the maps have good places to snipe. The challenge is going to be the bullet drop aspect which isn't insanely realistic like "Sniper Elite" for example but it does have an effect. You've got a "zero" setting for your sniper scope tht will zero your shots to 75m, 150m or 300m. Now of course you don't have to use that feature but you'll be aiming well above your target to make a shot if you don't.
