COD WW2

Post by OnoNotAgain »

Time to step out of the dark ages and try a new game everyone.

I have not been a big fan of some of the latest COD offerings, but this new one is a lot of fun. No dedicated servers yet, and I would not put my money on it ever happening, but this game is very nice.

I won't spend a ton of time laying this game out because I think so many of you are stuck in the mud like MOH:AA

If anyone is interested in a more in depth analysis I will provide it.

I had high hopes for this game but my friends have told me it's the same old COD offerings wrapped up in a WW2 game. Do you know of a demo or somewhere I can try it out before sinking 60$ into another frustrating COD product?

They had a BETA version out a couple weeks ago, but I don't know that there is a demo out there. I don't think it plays like done of the rest and I was very unhappy with a few of the previous versions, this one I enjoy. So coming from a stingy player who likes what I like, that's a positive.

I also found a CD Key version of the game on greenman.com
for about $50

Yeah I've watched a few Multiplayer gameplay vids and it looks nice and pretty but overall I'm not impressed with the gameplay.

I read the article, but have yet to play the SP mode so I cannot comment. Keep playing that slow as MOH:AA suit yourselves. I am enjoying the MP side. It does get daunting when you have players in the server that appear to be hacking and there's nothing you can do about it other than leave the lobby to find another with a new player pulling off miracles.

I don't know how long I'll continue to play ww2, but for now it's new and there is plenty of achieving to do for entertainment. MOH:AA is dull, slow and unimpressive at this point. It once was my love, but it's tiresome to play now.
