Somehow, I completely screwed up my comp last night, have been working on it since. I am in the process of saving files that are important to me, and then going to wipe this HD clean. Somehow, during this past year or so, I have ended up with so many duplicated files that were meant to be zipped and saved on my storage site, but never made it there. I have a TB HD almost filled with junk, sadly none of it is porn, so don't get y our hopes up there hod. It takes forever to get comp to boot fully, and then load everything, even though nothing but required items is supposed to load.
On another note, I have a secondary TB hd, but when I tried to load it as a slave, my comp actually spazzed out and wouldn't load, anyone know a reason this might happen? I can load 2 really old HD's that both had windows on them before I wiped them, so i know it is possible to do, so other than maybe this HD actually being broken, I am at a loss on why I can't slave it in like the other 2.
Barring any more screw ups, I will be back tomorrow, after I reinstall everything on my actual HD.
I screwed up!
Re: I screwed up!
That was a fail. Trying to find someone with a Windows recovery disk now, or someone who can make me one. Getting a Windows needs to be repaired message now. All else fails, it is still under warranty so can take it back to the place I bought it and have them fix it.
Re: I screwed up!
Have attempted to do both a flash drive and a CD to repair, to no avail. Will be taking comp in to try and get it fixed tomorrow, it is under warranty, so I should get a loaner while I wait.

I found out, I "should" be able to do a full install of windows 10, without needing the key, as it is supposed to have my system signature saved, so. I am going with this option, and now installing all of my stuff again.
