In all the years Ive been playing MOHAA, I have never encountered this problem. Not until my reinstall a couple three weeks ago or so.
The problem is, if I don't go in to my mouse settings within windows control panel, and disable " Enhance pointer precision," when I try to play mohaa, slowly moving my mouse to adjust aim, say when scoped, I get no movement. The cursor is almost uncontrollable generally speaking. A slight movement of the mouse to the right will send the cursor, in the main menu for example, flying some place off the screen to the right. Moving the cursor left, creates a feeling of resistance etc.
This is occurring on my older rig, running windows 8.1
I have been seeking a fix, and have yet to find anything useful, or anyone describing the same problem.
However, I was told Ari, has some insight on this, and can likely help me remedy the issue. Id love to know what the problem is exactly. Far as was told, its a windows update issue, a driver issue I guess, installed during updating the OS. What do I have to do to fix this? Id be grateful receiving some help with this, as the game just doesnt feel the same.
Please advise
Cheers!

Re: Logitech G502 Gaming Mouse & Cursor Issue
Your polling rate is too high. It needs to be at 125 for mohaa for some reason. I'm sure Ari can elaborate on the details as to why.. but that's the issue.. guarantee it.Adams wrote:

Re: Logitech G502 Gaming Mouse & Cursor Issue
As far as why, no I don't know why but that is the fix several of us use on windows 10. Maybe 8.1 finally got that update to. With my razor mouse, I have to switch to the dpi I use for mohaa ahead of time open synapse and change polling rate to 1000 then back to 125 to not have this issue. On my logitech mouse, all I had to do was have it on 125. I don't know why razor doesn't seem to save the polling rate when switching dpi's. Should keep that enhance pointer precision off anyways. 6/11 mouse speed and acceleration disabled is as close as you can get to raw input.
