Running MOHAA at monitor resolution

I know I've posted this before in forums past. Thought it was here but I know of at least one person who couldn't find it and doesn't know how to change default resolution, so here goes.
To get your game to run at custom resolution, 1080P for example, edit your unnamedsoldier.cfg (default location C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\MOHAA\main\configs
ADD
seta r_mode "-1"
seta r_customwidth "1920"
seta r_customheight "1080"
Of course you can set the custom width and height to whatever you want. Native screen resolution for your monitor is best.
If this (or other customizations) don't work, then it may be because the program files folder is a Windows protected folder and sometimes doesn't let you make changes. My suggestion is to NOT install the game in that folder, or if it's there, just COPY THE ENTIRE FOLDER somewhere else. It never hurts to have extra copies of the game folder, and the game will run from anywhere without running the installer. Personally I use C:\EA Games\MOHAA. Also keep a copy on a thumb drive or two...
