New Master Server for MOHAA

In March of 2025, x-null decided to move the ownemall's master server that was within his servers but with some x-null domain usage that James owns, to 333networks that hosts a lot of master servers for older games. It is more reliable than the other one was, there was some drama about it and still is but this is more about what our patrons and members will have to do soon if not right this moment.

Here is the new exe for mohaa that you replace with the old one to actually use the new master server than using the redirect that x-null has been doing since March. The reason for doing this now is that sometime soon, James(x-null owner) will be removing all mohaa related things from the site and moving on with other projects. The redirect will no longer work like it does now when he does this. Could be a few months, longer, or shorter. If HoD can maybe make a message in the MisFits Public server, with a pk3 edit or how ever it works, to spam this info and link to future proof their mohaa and also know that the game didn't die because they cannot see servers in the in game server browser, they just need the new exe. The one I provided is the volute one that has demo recorder enabled, but you can also just get the ones that xnull/openmohaa people also uploaded to the 333networks website.

Direct link to the download for all 3 moh games.

If we want to make a separate download location that could be a lot shorter it would make it easier, maybe a different site or a bit.ly link conversion. We should start telling the patrons of the server as soon as possible before this even happens to burn it into their minds about it so when on the day they load up mohaa and cannot see any servers, they don't just stop playing altogether and remember the spam message and actually try to get it done. Idk how to get through to non English speakers and anything like that but maybe a few other common languages if anyone knows which ones the very common repeat patrons are speaking. But yes, replace your clients exe with one of the ones provided and tell everyone you can about it. Prepare them for the future of mohaa and keep people playing the game. I wonder if gametracker has been notified about the new master server? I would imagine so but I do not use it.
And if anyone was wondering, both our mohaa servers for MisFits has already been updated with the new binaries a few months ago.*** Update: I assumed the 333 ones I replaced them with was the new ones, because both our servers were not showing up in the master server anymore, but apparently those months ago, they were just supplying the old ones that used the redirect and our servers might of been added manually and never have been uplinking to any master server and they are now fixed to go to gonespy/333. I have still kept the old ones as always just incase.
Another good link to have and tidbit. 333networks domain or whatever they use for some master servers is too long for mohaa to be coded into it, so they got another domain for mohaa to to be able to have it shorter. https://master.gonespy.com/s/mohaa?q=;o=d;s=numplayers The way the link is to show mohaa servers but you can access other games from it that they host master servers for. Here is a post of one of the OPM members explaining part of it while telling people how to confirm their server is correctly updated.

To verify that you have installed the update succesfully, you can check your server on master.gonespy.com. For example, this is the FORTE server: https://master.gonespy.com/mohaa/185.107.96.110:12203
You can see the uplink icon being green. This means that the server is uplinking directly towards master.gonespy.com, and that the update was succesful.
Your server will also appear on master.333networks.com, but the uplink icon will be shown in red there, stating that there is no direct uplink and that the server was added by master server synchronization. This is normal, as the new binaries use Gonespy for uplinking.
The reason why they are uplinking to Gonespy and not 333networks, is that the 333networks address is too long to be patched into the game. Gonespy is being controlled by 333networks, and is as reliable as their main master server.
