It may have been guilt by association since you were in the channel with several others that were causing issues. Admins will discuss and let you know.

Hey Wizard, I did ban you with the rest of the trouble makers. If I did so in error I do apologize. I'll see about getting you unbanned but I did give everyone in the channel the opportunity to speak with me before I banned them and nobody did.
