You'll have to pardon my brevity. I've heard these "arguments" before and its hard to take them seriously. I'll try to be more patient... it's a "Masshole" thing. ;)

So are you asking me what give me the moral authority to take offense at intentionally disrespecting my country, police officers, the president, etc.? Or the overall introduction of leftist politics into sports? What gives me the right to have an opinion? Is that what you're asking me?

Opening with an attack on my character is always a good move. Well done.

Come on, HOD, that was more of a general statement than a comment targeted at you. And I've been told that before both in the forums and on teamspkeak, so I think it is not an unfounded concern. But I was joking, though. I don't really care about this conversation.

[Deniro]You must be talking to me. There's nobody else here.[/Deniro]

General statement? Yeah I guess I hear stuff like that a lot. Passive-aggressive attacks on peoples' integrity and intelligence, based on their politics.

I don't know who said that to you. I'm sure it wasn't me unless it was some obvious joke or something. I don't try to tell people how to think, and I don't try to censor people.

And as always I recommend people use the mute button if people are getting annoying on TS. Most times they don't even notice...

Hod, you are not playing the victimization card, are you? You of all people should know that's a leftist recourse (JK).
My original comment wasn't a "passive-aggressive" attack on anything. When I feel like attacking (which I avoid doing as it is often pointless) I don't do it passively.
Back to my comment, it was a humorous way of saying this is the type of conversation where foreigners are often told to go back to where they came from. It seems some people think one has to be in love with the US to come study / live / do business here. Or as if one had to either love everything about the country or not come at all. I'm not saying you think this way, by the way. Nonetheless, it is funny to me that you get so upset about people disrespecting (a very debatable notion) the country. What's the big deal if they don't like the US and decide not to kneel during the anthem? You explained a little bit on the Fuck the NFL post, but never really said why you actually care. I couldn't care less about people disrespecting Chile, for example.

Concerning who said what to me in the past, it of course wasn't you. If it had been you, my original comment would've said

"I am tempted to participate in the conversation but I'm also afraid HOD will tell me to go back to my country. What should I do?"

No I'm a miserable old white dude nobody gives a fuck what I think. I have no cards to play.

Its late and I'm baked and tire so I can't fathom politics at the moment. I have just enough energy left to say that I've apppreciated your leadership and organization skills and hope you'll someday return to supply some DISCIPLINE to our damned Tuesdays!

As to the rest of your commie bullshit, let me deal with it when I've sobered up, okay? :D
