ATAVISTIC: suggesting characteristics of a remote ancestor or primitive type

BABELISM: spouting gibberish

BESCUMBER: to spray with shit

BLATHER: (v) to talk foolishly; (n) foolish talk

BLATHERSKITE: a babbler who talks a lot but makes little sense; a person given to voluble, empty talk

BLOOTER: a fumbling idiot

BUFFOON: a clown or someone who is always trying to be funny

BUNCOMBE: bullshit

CACAFUEGO: “shit fire” literally / a swaggering braggart

CHARLATAN: a fraud or a person who pretends to have some skill or be something he isn't

CLISHMACLAVER: gossip; idle or foolish talk

COCKALORUM: a little man who incorrectly has a very high opinion of himself

COXCOMB: a conceited, foolish dandy; a pretentious fop

CRAPULOUS: given to or characterized by gross excess in drinking or eating

DUNDERHEAD: dunce

EIDOLON: a phantom or apparition

FALDERAL: mere nonsense; foolish talk or ideas

FLIBBERTIGIBBET: a chattering or flighty, light-headed person

FOP: a foolish person; a vain man who pays too much attention to his clothes, appearance

FUSTIAN: pompous or pretentious language

GALOOT: an awkward, eccentric, or foolish person

GREENHORN: a raw, inexperienced person; a person easily imposed upon

GUTTERSNIPE: a scruffy and badly behaved child; a street child

IMBECILE: a person of defective mentality one grade above an idiot

JACKANAPES: a conceited, presumptuous, impertinent person, usually a young man; a whippersnapper

KAKISTOCRACY: a form of government in which the worst persons are in power

LUMMOX: a clumsy, stupid person

PANJANDRUM: a self-important or pretentious official

PECKSNIFFIAN: (adj.) sanctimonious, falsely appearing benevolent

PICARO: a rogue or a vagabond

PIFFLE: trivial or nonsensical talk

POPINJAY: a talkative, conceited person

POLTROON: a thorough coward

PRIG: one who is precise to an extreme in attention to principle or duty, especially in a self-righteous way

QUACKSALVER: a charlatan; a quack doctor
