High Ping?

Anyone getting higher than normal ping?

When I play in the scrim server, my normally good ping of 210 is no longer, its 330 upwards to 500
Main server is still steady on 248, which is odd

Looks like I am being routed via Hong Kong or some shit

I have seen posts in other forums also, anyone know anything on the International traffic routing???

Interesting. I wish I knew anything about controlling your routing, but I don't.

I guess it's a good thing that I never moved the main server to Dallas, which I have considered as a possible fix for lag spikes.

Have you spoken to your provider recently? Ray have the same setup as you? He OK?

Mine hasn't changed here, get them to route via SG instead of HK!

9 times out of 10 when I see this issue on our server, I send that tracert to my hosting company and they're able to control the routes. Not sure if GameServers is willing or able, but it might be a start.
