Over the last week, I have been very distracted from mohaa, when I do play, I don't pay a lot of attention to what is happening. I want to share why.
9 days ago, a friend of mine, whom I have known for over 10 years, and she is very dear to me, posted on facebook that her son was in a fight for his life. He was hit by a motorcycle, while out with his sister and 2 adults, getting milk from the store at about 1:30 am. The rider of the motorcycle was speeding, and seems to have sped up when he saw them, to try and get around them before they crossed the street. He has been on life support since, and has undergone several surgeries, one to add a port to his brain to drain the fluid build up, and at least one to repair the breaks in his legs. Today, he was finally weaned off of life support, and spoke his first words, which was I love you mommy. This has been something that has had me emotional and worried all week. I wanted to share this, because to me, knowing he said his first words and how far he has come in a week is nothing short of amazing. The doctors basically said do not expect a miracle, because he was so bad off, they had very little hope for him. Remember, life is short, life is precious, cling to the ones you love with all you have.
