Hey Misfits,
So started paying mohaa again a couple weeks ago after taking several years off and it's awesome to see you guys still playing. As I was away, looks like the anti-cheat volute is now available. I got a digital copy of mohaa through origins. The thing with that is it came with the expansions, spearhead and breakthrough. When I go to launch mohaa through valute, it shows the invalid files of the expansions. Just was wondering if anyone had the same issue and has a fix for this, thanks.

Re: Volute
Heya Roy, its great to see you back in the mix.
Correct, you cannot use the expansion pack install with volute. What you need to do is to get a clean install, which I think is available from the volute site.

I used the install from Alphamac, and that worked fine as well.
FYI I recommend everybody keep an extra install of the game on a thumb drive or something. You don't need to run the installer for the game to work. I have a couple copies of the game on my rig; one for when I'm pubbing on our server, and another stock install for when I want to use volute (which I don't use much, honestly). And its better if your game folder isn't within the Windows "program files" folder, as that is a protected folder and custom .pk3s, etc. don't always work right.
FYI*2, Volute won't support our skin pack, but it does support our map pack.

Hey HoD,
Great to hear from ya and thanks for the feedback. I just uninstalled mohaa from Origins and downloaded the free copy and was able to get mohaa working with volute.
Cheers!
