An anticheat is more effective than having specs. And if there are doubts, then also force players to record (with the mohaa.exe that allows recording).
I think force models are OK, as long as people use decent skins, and no fog = fuckking cheating.

There is also a command that will take a screenshot of your main folder with a time/date stamp. I just don't remember off the top of my head what is.
No forced models. No custom skins. No silent shot.

No Custom skins = great
No Silent Shot = great
No Force models = Why? I can't really see an advantage on having force models (an in-game option, not a bug or anything like that), especially if people use default skins. Just asking.

Re: 3 vs 3 tourney
Plz, no custom skins, no force models, no silent shot and def. have anti cheat, ss's , specs or whatever will legitimately ensure "fair play" in the general sense of the word. Some view force models or silent shots as shady. I personally do not like force models. For those who do not agree... may a camel fart on your breakfast!
Re: 3 vs 3 tourney
Now, if we could make an effort and go beyond camel farts and the "I don't like force models"... what would be a real reason to forbid it? Because there are real reasons for all the other things:
Custom Skins: Can provide unfair advantage, plus bring all sorts of bugs, especially for people who do not have them.
Silent Shot: It's a bug and gives the advantage of removing sound from a shot, thus making impossible to discern where a shot came from.
Anticheat, Specs, whatever: Good measures to reduce the risk of players using cheats.
Force Models: Winter German Soldier is easier to spot? Allied manon is skinnier? After 13+ years of MoH:AA, does anyone really thinks it makes such a great difference?
Not that I care that much anyway, but it just seems a little arbitrary.

I don't want to get into any of that shit where you can't have any customs in your main or you forfeit. Fuck that.MsDimeanor wrote:There is also a command that will take a screenshot of your main folder with a time/date stamp. I just don't remember off the top of my head what is.

If there are custom skins with bright colors that make it easier to be seen. The problem there seem to be the bright skins more than forcing models.High on Death wrote:They can force brightly colored skins, making it easier to see you.dckx wrote:No Custom skins = great
