Ever feel stupid?

Yesterday, my tire blew out, I knew it would, was just hoping it would hold off until next Friday. Anyway, it blew out, so I limped it to a gas station to call my brother. Then asked my uncle if he could loan me the money to replace it, and some wise guy asked why I didn't have a spare... turns out, I did have a spare, just no clue how to get it down. It took my uncle, my brother and I about 30 minutes of trying before someone took pity on us and showed us how to do it. Then, after I jacked the Yukon up, we discovered that it has an anti-theft lock nut on it. So, off to the store my brother and uncle went, to see if they could find the "key" required to remove this special lock. After an hour+ of sitting in the just cold enough to snow temps, my uncle and brother return. Just before opening the package, my uncle decided to look around in the Yukon to see if maybe he could find the "key" to the lock. Turns out, what I had assumed was a spare lug nut was in fact the key to this lock. So, after 3+ hours of sitting in this wet cold air, we finally get the old tire off, and the spare on. Now I am riding around in a Yukon with 3 low profile and one giant tire. At least I didn't have to owe my uncle money, right?

PS, have a good laugh about it, I know I did ;)

Is your owner's manual in the glove compartment?

Yup, lol. But my uncle and brother had it, and could not figure it out.. Men never understand instructions. I had to stop my uncle from breaking the lock cap off the rim. Oh and since the tires are custom rims, they are not listed in the owners manual, and there was no manual on how to remove those at all.
