Post by Tro »

Wondering how this thing is playing out in your lives, areas etc

Also want to see who all visits the forums :D

Will this brig us more MOHaa?

In Aus, cases slowly developing - personally work is work and will continue to operate... but working from home a little more now
Our dog obedience club was shut down by our governing body last night... no more training or comps for the next 6 weeks... AGM on Wednesday cant go a head...
So I might have a bit more time on my hands!!

Where are you all at these days?
How can we bring a few out of the woodwork?

Stay safe, see you online soon!

Present and accounted for! Corona has turned my industry(Aviation) on it's head. Experts are predicted a downturn in the industry not seen since 9/11. My company has already laid off 40% of it's work force and combined the remaining departments into 1 large operations department. It's nuts! Store shelves are empty and toilet paper is gone. Crazy time!

They're doing their best to create a global depression over this.

Seems to me that people are going to go out of their minds before long. Plenty of time, nothing to do. They're probably gonna send us all $1000 each, but nowhere to go to spend it. (Except for the server fund, of course!) Another week or two and people will be demanding things go back to normal. And surely the media will tell us it's all Trump's fault.

Give it a few days and there'll probably be an uptick in domestic disturbances and divorces, as people are forced to spend time with "loved" ones.

Should be good for video games. Also probably a big baby boom in 9 months.

Hi all, good to hear from you.

My family is fine, spending most if not all time at home. My wife works remotely and hopefully they will not cut down her hours. I'm writing my dissertation from home but also need to do some experimental work which will have to wait until things reopen. I'm also trying to find a remote job at my university. We are also going insane with two toddlers at home 24/7

I think things are looking bad for the US in terms of how this thing is propagating. We are planning to stay here, but if things get really nasty and a long shutdown/recession becomes imminent, we may go back to Chile for some time. We don't know anyone here and if we both were to get sick, our daughters would be taken care by DCF or some shit. We would prefer to avoid that.

On my scarce free time, I play a fps called Urban Terror, which I also played occasionally from 2008-2010. It's also kinda dead, but for sure less dead than mohaa. Also, people play it much earlier, which is what works for me. I miss mohaa, though. If you guys started to play earlier during the outbreak, I would probably join you.

For those not taking this shit seriously, please do. You may think whatever you want about it, but in the end of the day, it will kill a lot of people. Stay safe.
