So, today started out great, got a message from my favorite author, who sent me a gift card to buy his new book for free. Sounds like the start to an amazing day, right? Wrong.. 7.5 hours AFTER the trailer was due to be delivered they finally showed up just before dark. This means they didn't have time to set it up. There was also water damage, that we weren't supposed to have seen, but we did, so I walked around the trailer and looked where the damage was located on the wall, and was showing it to my brother and uncle. I touched the wall, where there was a crack, and it fell apart in my hand. Now, according to the sells place, there was no damage to the wall.. I will just share the pictures here so you all can see for yourself. There will be a lawsuit, because even though this is as is, they were made aware of, and made a verbal promise (Legal in the state of Arkansas) to repair all of the water damage.

sorry to hear this stormy. lots of work and almost impossible to get the rot all out. Of equal importance is sealing it up so no water gets in in the future. ...and verbal promises may be legal but "hand shake deals" or verbal promises can be extremely hard to prove in court. Do you have a witness? I suggest start by trying to get the money back and then figure it out after that.

I don't know if there is written agreements or not, but my family is full of people who know hot to repair everything, so we are just going to take it from there. It is almost set up, we should be able to move in next week, so we will slowly start fixing things over time. I just want a home, a place that has AC, as it is too hot to be living in an RV with out air.

Maybe have one of your handy family members fix the air in the RV first? Seems like that might be the cheapest fix at the moment.

Uncle wont do it, he is focused on getting the trailer ready, as everything is pretty much paid for already. Trust me, already asked, since it is his RV. it is 97 degrees today, feels like 107. I am just ready to get out of this place.

Supposed to be taking one in August, we will see how that plays out though. Goddaughter is having a baby, and I am supposed to be there to take pictures.
