Back in the 90s and early 2000s I was a founding member and played guitar, bass, and sang backup (and some lead) in Shadows of Doubt from Baltimore, MD. We started out in my friend’s garage/bedroom and eventually “hit our peak” when we opened for The Alarm at the Recher Theatre during their initial reunion tour.
We were a few friends from High school who morphed from a synth band to traditional instruments with a drum machine to ultimately a full on four piece with live drums. We were mainly an original band that also played some covers as parts of our sets. We cut a couple albums in the studio and played around the Greater Baltimore metro area. You could say that we were a “misfit” for the region which was known more for classic rock. We always thought that our musical style was more suited for the other side of the Atlantic...
If you’d like to give us a listen our two albums are:
-Shadows of Doubt (self-titled)
&
-Through the Looking Glass
Our musical style varied from upbeat acoustic guitar with vocal harmonies to a bit more raucous electric guitar driven rock. The musical mood likewise followed suit in ranging from some lighter upbeat themes to delving into the depths of depression and despair. Sprinkled in are also some typical dysfunctional relationship songs too

After leaving the band I continued making and recording songs which are mainly Christian rock and instrumental electronica which I have posted some things on SoundCloud if you wanted to check those out. ( soundcloud.com/bcc-3 )
I always seem to have some other musical ideas floating around in my head that hopefully someday I can bring to fruition but life has certainly made my time with music increasingly infrequent...and of course there is that perpetual siren’s call of MOHAA ...
